One of the oldest and most pure horse breeds in the world, the Akhal-Teke horse traces its lineage back over 3,000 years. Bred for endurance, speed, and intelligence, this desert-born athlete is not just beautiful — it’s built for performance. Endangered Horse Breed

The Akhal - Teke breed is endangered there are few breeders left of this oldest sport horse breed that are keeping the breed alive.  We found Akhal Valley Farms out of Canada, a breeding operation that is keeping this rare breed alive and appreciating the athleticism as they compete in dressage and jumper competitions.

That Iconic Shine

What truly sets the Akhal-Teke apart is its coat — often appearing metallic gold, silver, or bronze, thanks to a unique hair structure that reflects light. Common colors include palomino, buckskin, cremello, and even black with a brilliant sheen.
